New Store, New Year, and a Gift from a Friend

Posted by Austin Amento on

2014 was a big year for us at here at Augie’s Coffee Roasters. We celebrated the five year anniversary of the original Augie’s Coffeehouse in downtown Redlands last January, and the one year anniversary of our downtown Riverside shop this past November. We closed up 2014 with the opening of our third location in Claremont at the Claremont Packing House.

One of the best ways to end an exciting year is a gift. As you might know, we roast and cup our own coffee twice a week, but we love trying out new coffee from other roasters around the country. Recently, our friend Joe from Hangar 24 visited Huckleberry Roasters in Denver. He brought us back two of Huckleberry’s coffee sampler cassettes. The two coffees, an Ethiopian Yirgacheffe (YirgZ) and Ardi, were delicious, but the real treat was the container.

We loved the simple design, and unique packaging.

We will be roasting new coffees throughout the month, and featuring some new merchandise. We restocked our beanies at all three locations, featuring new colorways. These beanies went fast as the temperature dropped, so be sure to pick one up before they sell out.

As 2015 gets on it’s way, we have many more exciting plans and projects in store. We can’t wait to share them with you.
